Renault TRIBER is the first vehicle model to be specifically designed for the Indian market among the compact segment category, in which consumers place a high premium on value proposition in a car purchase decision.
Apart from its competitive pricing (starting from 4.95 lakh rupees for the model entry – about €6,300), TRIBER was designed to transform according to the many needs and the many lives of Indian customers. TRIBER can accommodate one to seven adults in comfort in less-than 4 meters of length. Indeed, more than half of Indian automotive households consists of five persons or more.
A financing offer built around the needs of Indian customers
NRFSI designed a wide range of financing and services offers for Renault Finance to help launch TRIBER, keeping in mind cost-consciousness of Indian customers when buying a car.
All products were conceived to enable Indian customers to acquire the vehicle of their choice and offer them a global service through car financing and services. Apart from regular financing, a special plan was built to meet the customer’s requirements, aiming at affordability and flexibility.
For example, this plan includes balloon-type products offering flexible last monthly payments, a step-up product with progressive interest rates, the possibility to delay the start of instalments by 2 months after buying the vehicle, rewards for current Renault customers, and additional services at a special pricing.
Triber, a tailor-made vehicle on a key market for Renault
India represents the fourth largest auto industry in the world. By 2022, India is expected to become the third largest car market of the world. This domestic market is one of the key markets for Groupe Renault’s development in order to double its sales outside Europe over the next three years.
