Born in 1967, Philippe Durand is a graduate from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (Spécialisation Finance) and from the Cycle d’Enseignement Supérieur des Affaires at HEC.
He has spent a large part of his career at Crédit Agricole, first as head of the General Inspection Department from 2002 to 2005, then for three years as CFO of BFC Antilles Guyane, a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole. He returned to mainland France in 2008 to take up the position of financial project manager at Crédit Agricole's head office, where he was responsible, among other things, for reorganising the financial and accounting departments of the bank's Serbian and Gabonese subsidiaries.
He then continued his career in Portugal, as Chief Financial Officer from 2010 to 2014, then as Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of Finance and IT until 2016, of Banco Credibom, a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole Group in which he also joined the Executive Committee. Since 2016, he has held the position of Chief Credit Officer of Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance Group.
As of September 1, 2021, he becomes VP, Credit of RCI Banque S.A, the group which operates under the commercial brand Mobilize Financial Services since May 10th 2022.
